Description:Copper Mountain hosted a FIS Alpine Ski World Cup, the top international circuit of alpine skiing. The four-day Copper Cup event saw men’s and women’s races for Giant Slalom, Slalom, and Super-G. Copper’s villages were transformed into the ultimate event experience where community, athletes, and alpine ski racing were celebrated at every turn, inviting our guests to experience themes of racing throughout the resort. The design created for Copper Cup symbolizes passion for sport, speed, energy and focuses on honoring skiing by showing sophisticated details of alpine racing through imagery.

Racers and spectators came from around the world to witness and compete in this circuit of the world cup races.
We designed a new event brand identity for the Copper Cup. Our challenge was to create something that felt new, exciting, reflective of ski racing but also aligned with Copper Mountain’s overarching brand as the Athlete’s Mountain. Every detail of Copper Cup was designed to bring our audience closer to the sport and inspire them to reach their own great heights. By integrating dynamic gradients, history, and racing imagery, we developed a brand that’s centered on ski racing and athleticism, capturing the culture, passion for sport, and tenacity of the Athlete’s Mountain.
